Elements & Principle

Due to my parent’s admiration for art, I was able to use many paintings they had hanging around for the project. I didn't want all the pictures to become repetitive so I began to look for objects in my house instead of paintings.  This helped me pay attention to certain objects in my home that I happen to walk by every day. For example, the elephant sculpture that  was used for the texture element, is an object that’s has been on the television stand for the longest but this week is the first time that  I paid it any thoughtful attention.

  1. Your images were pretty nice to look at. I really like the emphasis image with the flower. You couldn't have picked a better picture. I also like your porcelain elephant you can see the texture. The Line painting was nice. I think all your images showed the elements and principle of design .

  2. After reviewing the photos that you had taken for the elements and principles of art I think that you did a good job capturing the proper images for each. My favorite photos that you used the best I think was the swirling shell that you used for pattern, as well as the pink flower that was focused on for emphasis.
